Magnet PIG with Wye Tee

Description

Magnet pig for wye tee fitting is designed by using 2 sections and flexible joints to ensure smooth travelling through complex pipeline configurations. It is equipped with high-strength magnetic assemblies, sealing discs, and guiding discs on each section to collect and remove ferrous debris, welding slag, and metallic particles from the pipeline. This tool can travel along the pipeline axis without bypassing the wye tees while maintaining stable movement and effective cleaning performance. A bend plate is installed in the middle of the front section to inspect the minimum bend in the pipeline and a gauge plate is installed on the rear side of the front section to inspect the reduction/min ID of the pipeline. The transmitter is installed in the pig to track the location during operation.

Magnet pig is used to analyze below in the pipeline

· Minimum bend in the pipeline.

· Reduction/obstacle in the pipeline.

· Ferrous debris and metallic particle collection.

· The valve is partially open in the pipeline.

· Dent or ovality in the pipeline.

· Hot tapping/weld penetration obstruction in the pipeline.
